Les Voix Humaines in Paris, October 2016

Perchance to Dreame… Susie Napper and Margaret Little met up with tenor Charles Daniels and lutenist Fred Jacobs last October to perform a concert of rarely heard but divine British repertoire of the 17th century at the Terpsichore Festival. Poems by John Milton and Robert Herrick were set to music by Henry and William Lawes, and who could offer us a better musical reading than Charles?

The concert was held in the magnificent Salle Erhard in Paris, a dreame hall for Early Music. We’ve performed this wonderful program in Canada and the USA in the past few years, and are so happy to play it again for the Festival Oude Musiek next August.
